GHMe at World Health Summit
Global Health Mentorships attended the 7th annual World Health Summit from the 11th to the 13th of October in Berlin, Germany. The World Health Summit spanned over three days and allowed for speakers to discuss topics such as Antimicrobial Resistance, Health in the Post-2015 Development Agenda, Digital Health and Refugee Health. According to the welcome message, the World Health Summit serves to provide a platform to address the many pressing challenges facing global health.
The World Health Summit was an exciting opportunity for our team to network with keynote speakers and both young and expert professionals in global health. Individuals from all different organizations and age ranges showed genuine interest in our project, and we had the privilege to discuss the modules that have already been accomplished and those that have yet to come.
What was particularly special was that the World Health Summit served as a venue for some of our very own SYPs to meet their mentors in person. They thoroughly enjoyed meeting one another and even attending some of the same workshops. We look forward to next year's World Health Summit!
